Master of Forensic Accounting (MFAcc) Program Tuition & Fees
Annual Tuition Fees
The Tuition Fee Schedule for the MFAcc Program is set annually by The University of Toronto's Governing Council. A decision with regard to this schedule is generally announced in mid-April, preceding the upcoming academic year.
The annual fees below are approximate for 2023-2024 and are subject to change.

Notes:
- The tuition and incidental fees are ANNUAL (per year) fees, and the program is 2 years in duration.
- The fees are in Canadian Dollars.
- The costs of books, e-texts and other readings are included in the tuition cost of the program.

| Incidental and Ancillary Fees | University of Toronto services (such as athletic, library and student union services) are additional costs separate from tuition fees and are set by the university each spring. Ancillary fees are approximately $1,000. |
| Medical Fees | International students are provided medical coverage through the University Health Insurance Plan (UHIP). Annual UHIP coverage begins in September of each year. Further information regarding UHIP is available at the University of Toronto's Centre for International Experience. |
| Residency (Capstone) | Students are financially responsible for transportation and accommodations costs while attending the residency course (IFA2904H: Integrative Capstone), which is the final course in the MFAcc program. During class times, group meals are provided. Accommodations at nearby hotels range from $80 - $140 per night. |
Financing & Scholarships
› There are several different financing opportunities for MFAcc students. Some are specifically for MFAcc students while other opportunities are for students across other programs at the University of Toronto.
The MFAcc Program does not offer any fully funded scholarships.
Master of Forensic Accounting Fellowship
The MFAcc Fellowship is to be awarded to one or two student(s) enrolled in the MFAcc program at the University of Toronto Mississauga on the basis of academic merit, demonstrated financial need, leadership, and on the consideration of feedback from the MFAcc adjudication committee. The student(s) must be in good academic standing and display effective leadership skills. The recipient(s) may be in first or second year, but are only eligible to receive the award once during their tenure in the program. Domestic or international students may apply.
This award has been funded by a group of alumni donors from the MFAcc program.
› Value: Maximum $5000 per student.
Deadline to apply for the 2024-2025 academic year is May 15th 2024.

Scotiabank Loans
Students enrolled in a professional program have the option of borrowing funds from Scotiabank through the ScotiaLine for students.
Students interested in the ScotiaLine should contact Georgios Stathopoulos (georgios.stathopoulos@scotiabank.com or 416-866-3940, extension 4209) at the bank’s Queen and McCaul Branch to set up an appointment.
Note: University of Toronto students are not required to use Scotiabank as a lender. Students are welcome to pursue funding options at the financial institution of their choice.
Bursaries
Bursaries are available to full-time University of Toronto graduate students on the basis of need.
Funding is limited and is specifically for emergencies arising from unforeseen circumstances. Please see the School of Graduate Studies website for information about the Emergency Loan, Emergency Grant and Master’s Tuition Fee Bursary.

MFAcc Tuition Support Program
The MFAcc Program has limited funds to assist students with tuition payments. If you require financial aid please contact the MFAcc Program office.

» SGS University-Wide Awards
Through the generous support of numerous donors, a number of endowed awards have been established at the School of Graduate Studies. This year, approximately 21 awards with various eligibility criteria and values are offered. The deadline to apply for the 2023-2024 academic year is to be confirmed.
