Alumna Felicia Ciolfitto

Felicia has over 20 years experience in the accounting field and her work in the past eight years has been in the areas of Forensic Accounting and Internal Audit. Currently the Director of Internal Audit with British Columbia Automobile Association (BCAA), Felicia is responsible for carrying out the annual Internal Audit Plan, reporting to the Board, and being a key contact for the organization’s Ethics Reporting Line. Felicia was Director of Internal Audit at the Vancouver Fraser Port Authority (Port of Vancouver), prior to joining BCAA.

Prior to her Internal Audit focus, Felicia was Manager of Trust Regulation at the Law Society of British Columbia and oversaw a staff of 22 compliance auditors and forensic accountants.

Felicia is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), with an MBA from Queen’s University. She is alumna of the Diploma in Investigative and Forensic Accounting (DIFA) from the University of Toronto, and part of the first Master of Forensic Accounting (MFAcc) graduating class.

Felicia enjoys supporting both students and professionals and has been an online facilitator with CPA Canada’s Professional Education Program (PEP) for the past several years, and has also been asked to speak at the Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD) “Audit Committee Effectiveness” courses,

Most recently, Felicia has assisted the MFAcc program as a Sessional Instructional Assistant.

When not working, Felicia enjoys her Board role as a Governor of the Law Foundation of British Columbia, where she sits on the Grants Application and Finance & Administration Committees.
