Introduction
The Master of Forensic Accounting (MFAcc) program, formerly the Diploma in Investigative & Forensic Accounting (DIFA) program, will offer the following Awards on an annual or periodic basis. Nominations will be gathered from MFAcc-DIFA stakeholders including alumni, instructors, and others, and awards will be decided by an Awards Committee chaired by the Program Director.

Forensic Accounting Lifetime Achievement Award
Recognition of distinguished contributions to forensic accounting over two decades.
Distinguished Contribution to the Development of Forensic Accounting
Recognition of a significant contribution to the development of forensic accounting.
Distinguished Contribution to Forensic Accounting Education
Recognition of a significant contribution to forensic accounting education.
Distinguished Contribution to Forensic Accounting Practice
Recognition of a significant contribution to forensic accounting practice.
Distinguished Contribution as a Forensic Accounting Instructor
Recognition of stellar performance as a MFAcc-DIFA instructor.
Award Process
Nominations are now being called for by the MFAcc-DIFA program Director. Nominations to be in by April 18th, 2017.
Please nominate a candidate for each category.
The Program Office will provide the Awards Committee with relevant details such as teaching evaluations, etc.
Awards will be given at Forensic Accounting Transitions, a Dinner and Awards ceremony to follow the ACFI Fraud Conference reception on May 1, 2017. Details of this event will be announced on the MFAcc-DIFA Program website and on related social media sites.
A record of all Awards given will be kept on the Program website. Individual award winners will be given a personal award in recognition of their achievement.
