Esther has over 18 years of experience as a forensic accountant and most recently as April 2018, was a Partner and Senior Vice President at Matson, Driscoll and Damico (MDD). During the course of her practise, she has managed numerous files including fraud, concealment & misrepresentation, business interruption, loss of profits, fidelity claims, products liability & recall, stock & contents, construction defects & claims, extra expenses, accident benefits, physical damages, catastrophe services, personal injury and wrongful death. Esther enjoys teaching and speaking on forensic accounting and fraud topics and has had numerous opportunities to do so, most recently at Queens University.
Esther received her Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Wilfrid Laurier University (Go Hawks!) but is most proud of achieving a Master of Forensic Accounting degree from University of Toronto. The program is outstanding and has been the pinnacle of Esther's education.
Most recently, Esther is engaged at University of Toronto, assisting in the MFacc program and is a busy Mom of two small children. Esther enjoys traveling, playing the piano, mentoring, building relationships and volunteering.
